Xeli's Tierlist Site

Back in 2019 I noticed there was an increasing amount of isekai anime adaptations being made, and I (rightly) assumed they would ramp up even more endless isekai slop to be adapted over time. Considering that a majority of those isekai adaptations are 4th-tier media in most cases (Webnovel->LightNovel->Manga->Anime) I wanted to see if experiencing one level lower was any better. Then after reading a few and enjoying them I had the insane idea to start trying to read all of the isekai manga adaptations, since it felt relatively accomplishable at the time, at least compared to how many isekai light novels that existed. Along my journey I started to add in “Reincarnation” works as well even if they don’t have any isekai in them, since a large portion of isekai are both isekai/reincarnation. I then also added in Korean (and a few OEL) works into the mix that met the criteria since there was starting to be an increasing number of those as well.

This site exists to allow me to easily show other people what I like (or don’t like), and the descriptions on each manga help me recall exactly what happened in a manga so that I can catch up again at a later point in time. It probably will not be useful for a large majority of people since my taste conflicts with quite a lot of the general public’s when it comes to manga apparently, but maybe it will be helpful to at least somebody.
