The manga speedruns past the intro and immediately just shoves you right into the thick of things; only to eventually do like a flashback of how things got to where they are multiple chapters later. I feel like the anime handles it quite a fair bit better by just doing everything chronologically instead even if it’s an adaptation of this work. A lot of things are just kind of summaries and glossed over that the anime goes into great detail for which is kind of weird. Pretty much every chapter is standalone and episodic so if you want some kind of weird comedy slice of life with an extremely horny furry male lead maybe it’s for you? There’s also some weird timey-wimey memory bullshit flashback things that happen which are Kind of odd and makes me like the anime even more honestly for just having everything be mostly linear.

However the chara designs/art are still top tier. Panels of shigure are enough. But short hair camilla is super cute actually and chloe is also hot. The series overall is just excessively itself and very based, and the protag is completely un-self-insertable.
