Protag reincarnates into the standard noble-era as just an everyday girl but through various circumstances ends up being the playmate for a sickly noble girl. She gets appalled at the living conditions of the place and starts cleaning everything up and improving the diet of everybody there. As a result the noble girl she was taking care of ends up becoming the princess after getting better and elevates the protag up to be her official maid. Because she’s so trusted sometimes she’ll be asked to help take care of some of their more influential members, and eventually gets tasked with the reclusive genius magician bachelor who has issues communicating with others and is generally awkward, for the sole sake of raising the child that he adopted.

The main plot of the work is the protag slowly raising a girl with too much mana for her own good that it becomes dangerous for anybody else to be alongside her, along with a taciturn autistic royal magician ikemen as they both act as her parents. The rest is the protag coming to terms with the fact that she will never be able to be together with the love of her past life; similar to your spouse dying and having to move on and find someone else or stay alone for the rest of your life (although in this case it’s the protag who died).

It’s a pure josei romance series without any inane drama, with a focus on real adult issues and conversations. I like it quite a fair bit.
