Protagonist is a wholesome chungus who is misunderstood by everybody due to his naturally scowling face, and is eventually propped up to be the head of the delinquents since he is such a pushover. One day when he was heading to school he spotted a kid about to be run over by a truck, pushes the kid out of the way, and ends up getting isekai’d instead; Where he is greeted by a bespectacled bishounen in a library and offered the chance to reincarnate into a world of magic. The god won’t take no for an answer and the protag is whisked off to a random forest before he knows it.

This work is essentially just runefactory without the farming. The character designs and art are perfect. The work has fairly nice pacing and manages to accomplish a nice wholesome complete story in a relatively short amount of time. The only real downside is that I felt that it didn’t really develop the characters enough, but it was still enjoyable to read despite that.

Would rec if you just want a wholesome runefactory-esque story about runeys and a dude going on a grand adventure with an extremely moe heroine. I wish the artist did more works.
