Description / Comments

Protagonist has a loving wife and child, except she’s cheating on him and it’s not his child and she duped him all along so she could have a fun happy homelife with Chad instead while the protag takes care of all of the bills, gets saddled with all of her debt, and ultimately dies from stress. A devil has been messing with the protag’s life for a while now revelling in his despair and offers him a chance at another world where he gets to be born into nobility and surely it will be better next life instead (excluding all of the catches and the devil seeking to fuck up his life again to get more despair out of him). He successfully reincarnates, he inherits a massive planet in a scifi world at the age of 5 while his parents abscond off to the empire’s capital planet on a vacation, and he’s left to deal with nigh infinite debt and a failing planet along with his custom-maid AI waifu.

Despite wanting to be “evil” in his next life to make up for all of his wishywashy pushover traits in the previous life, he’s incapable of doing so since he’s still a “nice guy” underneath everything. Except it actually works out since he has a super powerful AI waifu alongside him guiding him every step of the way that would never betray him and alleviate his mommy issues. The rest of the characters barely exist solely to prop up the protag or act as tools while constantly glazing him, or are “villains” with subhuman IQ that exist to be immediately dabbed upon by his superior epicness.

The main devil villain is probably the worst part about this entire work. It’s like mixing wile e coyote and team rocket together in a character; he is a constant presence in the story causing everything related to the protag to go slightly askew in an attempt to make the protag hate him and feed off his negative emotions, but everything goes just barely wrong causing him to take enough damage to have to retreat and “get him again next time”. Actual kids show energy.

The main love interest is great at least. Most of the panels/scenes featuring her are pretty good even if she really just exists as a damsel in distress for him to save (and get the highest level of peerage for lol). Having them all cut off their hair in the military arc is a travesty though, but i’m glad the main love interest is spared from that at least…

The fights aren’t interesting, the politics aren’t interesting, the city builds itself offscreen thanks to the help of the AI, the other characters aren’t interesting, but it has cute panels of the cute main love interest/wife and he actually gets married so it’s not all bad.
