Protag played the 2nd installment of a game in a trilogy and upon completion he decides to play it again while waiting for the new one to release, but gets a weird prompt on NG+ and ends up getting isekai’d into the game. He then spends years enjoying his new life with an actual family (since he was neglected in his previous life due to divorce/etc) and enjoying father/son bonding time every day. However even with the events of the story slapping the protagonist in the face time and time again, the protagonist remains obstinate in his desire to live the happy country life with his family.

Main highlight of this work is the really cute romance with the main heroine; If you ignore the fact that the protag is like a 30year old on the inside. The protagonist and heroine just slowly grow up and get stronger while fending with noble duties and politicking, while eventually heading towards the events that played out in the game. Except the protagonist already drastically derailed the story from the start so it’s possible that everything will be completely different than the story he knows.

I dislike that it is seemingly setting up a subheroine that might get in the way of the romance of the main heroine, hopefully it quickly deals with it and solidifies the main romance instead in the future.
