Description / Comments

The protagonist dies a mediocre death after a life of petty suffering, and on a whim the overseer god of the world offers to give him another life in another world. The protagonist accepts and has the ability to ask for some abilities to carry over, but all of his requests are so plain that the god just keeps giving him more and more, until eventually he requests the ability to farm since he saw some local idols farming on TV while he was in the hospital and really wanted to do so. He then gets whisked away out to the middle of nowhere so he can start farming, but he was plopped down into the middle of a dangeous forest far from civilization instead. But that’s okay, he’s super broken OP since he got the super powerful ultra omega farming implements from god and never tires and always has a healthy body and is just really cool.

The beginning of the work is very plain and boring, an actual slow-life, just the protagonist slowly building out his small area while immediately one-shotting everything in the vicinity with no struggles or stakes. He eventually captures a cute vampire girl and almost immediately makes her his wife, then the angel that was pursuing her also becomes his wife. They continue to expand the town while he continues to make an infinite amount of wives while one-shotting everything in the vicinity, slowly building up more and more while everything is told in the most bland diary-format imaginable. The pace is both breakneck and incredibly slow at the same time, skipping over tons of content and explanations only to give you the most banal explanations about shit that really does not matter over and over. The protagonist continously basically gets raped by all of the women that continue to flock to his town because he’s just that much of a chad and clearly the only man that exists in the universe that can have sex with women.

The protagonist is extremely wishy-washy, has no clear goals and just kind of goes with the flow which I guess means this is truly one of the actual “slowlife/nonbiri” works, but the protagonist does not make it particularly engaging to read. “Oh no, it looks like the elves are planning to rape me again, haha” over and over again; After a while it stops hammering that bit down and starts to offscreen it, only for it to constantly repeat a ton of other banal events instead. It’s not even particularly “slowlife” after a certain point with constant politics and largescale events from all of the influential people coming about with him having to constantly make hard decisions about the growth of his village, yet it’s still written in the most dry manner possible. The work has no clear motive on what it wants to be, and is clearly just the author writing out whatever fantasies he had with no rhyme or reason. I’m more baffled that this was actually adapted by anybody and continues to be well into 100s of chapters.

The art is quite honestly bad, the panelling, the backgrounds, the characters, none of it is particularly well done. A lot of the girls also look fairly similar, which I guess isn’t surprising when he has like 300+ in his harem after a certain point it can be hard to give a unique appearance to a lot of them, but if the work didn’t constantly use their names you would probably mistake many of them for each other. Even with it constantly telling you their names it’s sometimes hard to remember who some of the people are especially when a lot of the names are very similar.

The anime adaptation of this work is actually quite a fair bit better than whatever this manga adaptation is, so if you were to experience any part of this work I would recommend just watching the anime instead. I can only imagine the LN/WN are even worse than this manga, so I doubt they’re particularly worth reading either.

I could maybe recommend this to you if you absolutely love harem farming isekai with a ton of elf wives, but that is functionally only Ryan, and there’s actually kind of better works than this one out there that i’d rather recommend instead.
