Description / Comments
Protagonist is trapped in an empty white void where the only thing available is a door and a book. However the book gives him an insane task of travelling through the door, joining the hero’s party in that isekai, then getting kicked out of the hero’s party after staying in it for 6+ months, repeatedly over and over until he’s done 100+ worlds. At least every time he does so he obtains a new ability he can take on to the next world, but he can’t return through the older doors. After completing all 100 doors and receiving his last ability he finally gets the door back to his own world, except he first has to visit one of the 100 worlds again before his world’s door will open up. He chooses the first world he went into, since surely they will have defeated the demon lord by now and he should be able to enjoy a nice peaceful isekai tourism lifestyle for a while!!
The art is perfect. The use of color in chapter5 is also perfect. Everything for the elf wife.
This is the ultimate kino in the elf wife genre. Nothing could ever surpass this. It’s all downhill from here.
I feel like the only problem with this work is that it’s ambitions are way too high, setting itself up to have the protagonist eventually speedrun through 100 full isekai worlds. So many characters would need to be created and introduced, and so many different plotlines would need to be fleshed out enough to not feel disastisfying. Considering the pace this is being adapted at, i’m not sure 100 years is even enough. Which means that in the end this work will only ever have an unsatisfying ending, or constant montage/skipping through tons of worlds to eventually reach an “okay” ending.
