Protagonist has chuuni delusions of grandeur so hard that he trains to the peak male form, but even that isn’t enough of him since his goal is to overcome the sheer raw power of a nuke. However he realizes that he will need the power of magic in order to realize his goals, and conveniently ends up isekai-ing himself into exactly a world like that. Ocne there he is able to flawless act out his plan of obtaining extremely powerful magic at a very young age, while simultaneously doing everything in his power to seem average/terrible to everyone around him so he can be the true Eminence in the Shadows.

It’s an extremely dumb work that goes all in on a singular concept, and the manga adaptation flawlessly stitches everything together in a perfect package. The work starts out fairly strong but unfortunately I feel like the artist ran out of ways to make the work funnier after a while and around ch60+ it almost entirely stops inserting good jokes anymore. If anything I think it’s a side effect of the work apparently completely going away from the source material after ch47, which was a massive mistake.

You could almost imagine that this entire isekai world is simply his dream world while he’s stuck in a coma after getting hit by the truck with everything going exactly how he dreams it to go. If the protagonist thinks it would be cool to have a specific event happen, it will eventually happen the exact moment he thinks about it. The world exists for the protag’s jokes and delusions.

If you’ve experienced the anime or light novel I would still recommend trying this out since it’s fairly different from both of them due to all of the early additions and changes to the pacing for comedic effect. I really do enjoy this adaptation and I feel like most people would enjoy it too, at least for multiple volumes until it becomes shit.
