Protag essentially no-lifes an MMO and is the top content creator for it running a blog with all of the latest tip and tricks to the extent that he neglects his health and eventually dies, only to reincarnate into the that game he obsessed over. However he reincarnates as an obscure super obese noble dude off in the outskirts of the northern region, along with a super loyal maidwaifu and magical vegetables that taste like shit but rapidly reduce weight so that he can easily become a chad with a harem despite starting off as super fat. As the protag is one of the most knowledgable people about the game he knows a majority of the events that will happen in the future, along with the bugs and exploits to allow him to eventually achieve is goal of uniting the continent and living as the peaceful and kind god emperor to all.

Honestly the first season is fairly decent, more so than I remember it being on my first time reading through it. It’s a decent prologue/setup to the rest of the work in establishing the protag’s foothold, setting up his future goals, and showcasing how he’ll use his knowledge to revolutionize the kingdom. Eventually realizing that this is his new life here, and that the people around him aren’t simply “NPCs” from the game but real people who can and will deviate from any future knowledge he might’ve had, and to give his all to increase the living standards of his subjects as the soon to be benevolent ruler of the kingdom.

However the art in season 2 massively drops off a cliff from a change in artist. The art at that point is little more than ms paint sketches that rival hunter x hunter’s scribbles, and i’m baffled that something like this was even published. The translation quality/checking also drops off a cliff after a few chapters of season 2 so clearly nobody gives a shit about this series. The art did start to slowly improve a bit after 20 chapters of this hell but not enough to consider reading this regardless. Chapter 51 is unbelievably cringe btw. Also the official translation has tons of fully missing panels in ch74 which is epic.

Okay on second thought in ch76 they actually properly drew elaborate twinbraids somehow when most artists just halfass it; I’m sorry ohdongdong I wasn’t familiar with your game.

The story is okay but the protagonist’s desire to be functionality celibate and avoid all advances despite essentially amassing a harem is kind of an odd choice. “I’m flattered you love me and basically just proposed to me, but i’m already married to my province/kingdom” uwu. And that’s after giving her a kiss and misleading her for the sole purpose of making her level up/etc through her affection towards him, fully manipulating her. Realdeal problematic manwha but he’s “hot and cool” so it’s “okay”.
