I don’t even know where to begin with writing a comment for this work. It’s beautiful. It’s art. I’m not sure anything I write could really ever capture the essence of this work and why I like it so much. I feel like if you were to read only a single work on this entire list then this should be that work. Ignore the blurbs, ignore the promotional images, just push through and read it. It’s a relatively slow work at the start that takes time to build up the world piece by piece until it snowballs into something large enough that it becomes impossible to stop reading it. It spans just about every genre and doesn’t really fall into any genre. It is one of the few rare pieces of amazing original fantasy left in the hellscape that is this post-isekai/narou world.
