Protag is your average korean dude who somehow found himself trapped in (literal) hell, but after 10,000 years he made it to the top of the food chain and became the demon lord due to his unique ability to devour/absorb those around him. However after 10k years he got more and more irrate with the living standards in hell and desparately just wanted a normal life again when he could just eat kimchi and actually talk with cute girls or watch anime/etc, so he tries everything he can to break open a dimensional wormhole and possibly find at least some earth-like planet to isekai himself into. He manages to succeed, but it seems to be a strange earth-like planet that has been invaded by strange creatures in a gate outbreak like manner, but at the very least he manages to almost immediately stumble on a cute girl that he saves and immediately proposes to her.

The protag is a fun enough “evil” protagonist who lives solely for his desires and the first season is fairly enjoyable as a result. Season 1 is primarily a comedy with some battles here and there, with nice pacing and pretty good art. Meanwhile season 2 is unfortunately just “OP Korean Man dabs on the rest of the world” like you’ve probably seen 1000s of times before, and the artist changes as well so it’s just all around extremely unpleasant to read. If you want to read a work about an evil protag that isn’t comically evil, and does everything in a fairly smart expected way, this isn’t that bad of a rec. Just know that the work only gets worse over time.
