발할라 사가(Valhalla Saga)

Protag is an epic esports gamer who dies while playing in a grand championship, only to wind up in valhalla since he died while in the “heat of battle” like a true warrior. He immediately gets thrust into battle without knowing left from right but thankfully everybody who reincarnates into valhalla get powers based on their legacy, their saga. The protag’s saga is the character he was well known for playing, a nigh unbeatable epic mandude who is really cool and stuff. Unforutnately the protag is a wimpy wimperton and can barely sync with the character, but it’s still enough for him to make it through his first day. All of the new arrivals then get recruited by the various gods to fight in the ragnarok war and save the world.

The work constantly mixes in terrible memes and references to other works that greatly cheapen any story this work tries to tell, in lieu of actually filling that time with an original story. As a result this work is like 70% references to other works/memes trying to portray it as a “comedy”, and 30% the protag dabbing on buff vallhallan dudes with 0 braincells with his epic gamer powers.

It’s still a little too early to judge it so maybe i’ll come back in a year or so and see if it improved at all, but I don’t particularly have high hope for it at this point.
