The protagonist reincarnates as the protagonist of a romance novel she read, where she is the prettiest girl in school and has the perfect life and obtains the perfect boyfriend then lives her life happily ever after. All of the characters in the world are faceless blobs, extras, and the only one that matters is her soon-to-be boyfriend. The world plays out exactly like it does in the book and soon enough she reaches the desired chapter of the male lead confessing his feelings to her, and passes her day in school like normal up until the designated time. However the confession doesn’t go as planned and for some reason the male lead got turned into a zombie! Now the protagonist will have to figure out how to get the story back on track if that is even possible!

I really enjoyed this work a lot. It’s a really nice post-apocalyptic zombie/survival manga with a ton of nice twists and plot developments using the protag’s “curse” to constantly revive back at the start of the work. It’s largely focused on the characters surviving while trapped in their school with tons of insane zombies that continue to evolve and get stronger while trying to figure out how to even get out.

There is a very tiny amount of romance in the work but it’s not a focus or main draw of the work, it’s simply a Zombie Survival manga through and through and the rest is supplementary to the core of the work. If you ever wanted to experience what Gakkou Gurashi would be like if it was mixed with ReZero in a shoujo romance setting then I would 100% rec this.
