Protagonist becomes the bestest there ever was at heavyweight MMA, then retires at 27 years old only to immediately get truck’d. He then gets offered to isekai into another world, or threatened to be reincarnated as non-human if he refuses, so he gets whisked away off to an isekai before he knows it. However the angel that oversaw his reincarnation was a lazy asshole and just wanted “referalls” so she slaps him off in the middle of hardcore demon territory where he has to slave away under the monsters all day long, just like the 100s of “heros” who came before him. However upper management found out, punished the angel, and now she has to serve him as a personal fairy that bothers him all day long and convince him to defeat the demon lord. Instead of teleporting him back to an actual starter area or cleaning up any of the mess, instead the protag has to deal with an annoying freeloader who got him into this mess in the first place all day long! To make matters worse he’s also now been recruited to be the Overseer of the Hero Labor Camp he spawned into since he was so diligent and strong, so now he gets to ingratiate himself with the demon lord army!

It starts out as kind of a meme work about him being trapped in a terrible situation almost abused by the “evil” demons, but as time goes on it started to become a “demon’s are chill and just trying to survive too bro” work. Basically painting the church as evil (yet again) but in reality the demons are in fact kind of bloodthirsty savages that started the war in the first place, and it’s only after being trapped in a small corner of the world that they started to mellow out a bit. The protagonist and saint are both fairly fun characters who basically carry the work so far, especially the protag’s dynamics with all of the other demons.

Would rec if you want a human on the side of demons fighting against corrupt humans who teamed up with other demons I guess.
