Protag toils away in his previous life as a veteranary intern, dies, and reincarnates as a random minor villain in a Dark Fantasy novel he read in his previous life, and he for some reason reincarnates directly before he’s about to throw his future away to the despicable dark mages. Thankfully the protagonist finds a way to escape, comes across a random baby dragon where he conveniently gets the ability to tame it as soon as he meets it, and breaks free. He’ll now have to figure out how to turn his life around as someone that is about to be disowned and hated by all.

Protag is simply too overpowered, constantly gets exactly what he needs when he needs it, and runs laps around everybody effortlessly while all of the women want him. The best part about this work is all of the cute girls who are fairly competent themselevs but you can’t really appreciate them when they almost solely exist to fawn over the protag, and even the original protagonist of the novel starts being buddybuddy with this dude. The entire plot is the protags finding the macguffins (cubes) before the evil dark mages find them, but the entire plot around the existence of the cubes and everything surrounding them is incredibly stupid. Shoutout to the protag “taming” these “cubes”.

Season 1 was 40 chapters, season 2 was 20, and now it’s on hiatus. Maybe it’s axed? Wouldn’t be surprised.
