Description / Comments
The protagonist recovers her memories from her past life all of a sudden one day and realizes she is in the world of a fantasy novel she read as the villainess half-daughter of the Big Bad Scary Koreaman Villain, and just wants to live out her life safely. Except she’s not actually the daughter of the villain and instead it was some kind of paternity fraud, so in the novel she eventually gets found out and killed for deceiving(?) her parents, for whatever reason that would cause the death penalty. Thankfully in an effort to escape her situation and be a better person to everyone around her, they start to adore her and want to protect her instead.
The protagonist is extremely cute and even has twinbraids in chapter 8 this is made for me. I love the art in this work. The artist goes to a lot of effort to create all of the dresses she wears, and even somewhat regularly puts the protagonist’s hair up into twinbraids. All of the background and character art are perfect, and it has really good panelling on top of nice SD pictures occasionally for comedic effect.
This work is romance, but it’s also not romance at all, and more about following the protagonist through her life as she grows as a person. The male lead and his relationship with the protagonist is also fairly unique, which you won’t really understand or appreciate until much further into the work although it does constantly hint at there being more to it early on at least.
The official translation is also pretty great although maybe a little too over the top at times. I respect the effort though. There were a few typos here and there but otherwise it was a fun read.
