Description / Comments
The protagonist falls in love with the second prince and does all of his bidding for him, except gets betrayed and tossed aside once she has no more value. In fact the protagonist’s sister was behind all of the struggles and woes in the protagonist’s life to begin with. In her dying breaths of being burned at the stake for being a “witch” she cries out to the heavens asking god for an other chance to correct her sins, and rewrite her past, for which god for some reason obliges and sends her back in time before everything happened.
This work is actually psychotic. Insane melodramatic josei romance where you get a glimpse into the mind of women who only want someone that excites them and portrays everybody else as an insanely posessive abuser regardless of how good they are otherwise. The work tries incredibly hard to make only one of the male leads be desireable by distorting everything through the lens of the protagonist, because it’s what she thinks is hot.
The art is great, the protagonist is very beautiful, and all of the men are hot too. I am fond of the art in general and it doesn’t shy away from giving the women incredibly meme death glares at times.
The work is primarily the two female “protagonists” duking it out through their own weird plans and machinations, where the main protagonist got screwed over in the first life, but turns the tables in her second life. It is a standard messy josei romance primarily focused on revenge, and it does that fairly well with a very clear demographic.
